The document reading view shows the full text of the user-selected document. The user selects the document in the list by clicking on the document name. This close reading mode enables users to verify hypotheses they perceive in the distant reading visualizations.
Each document is shown in a separate tab with DocumentID as tab name. The user can close the document by clicking on the X of the tab name on the top of the view.
The document starts with the document name. Then document keywords are listed. And then the document content is presented, where the found entities are highlighted in blue color and are underlined. The underline color corresponds to the type of entity. Longer documents can be read by scrolling down.
The user can tag each document by one or more tags. The user can select from the available tags or enter a free text of the new tag. The tags can be removed by clicking on the x button next to the tag.
